Heart of the Storm: Chapter Two
The docks in Westwell seemed barren to Anne as she made her way toward the water. The bay, so often looking like a graveyard of merchant ships, was home tonight to only three, two of which, the Spanish Rosa and the Urchin Lady, belonged to Michael Dargo. A few British soldiers strolled across the long planks that made up the dock, but they did not demand to see the contents of the crates being unloaded from the ships, no doubt bribed to silence their routine inquiries.
